The Artistic Director of Granville Dance & Music Academy, Muireann Ní Chiara, is originally from County Tipperary, Ireland. Having completed a Masters Degree in Irish Dance at the University of Limerick, Ireland, Muireann first came to the United States in 1999 to take the position of Professor of World Dance at Denison University in Granville, Ohio. Muireann is a certified Irish Dance Teacher and Adjudicator with An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha (The Irish Dance Commision) and a licensed Kindermusik educator. Muireann also holds a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music and Masters of Education from University College Cork, Ireland.
